COVID-19 response

Easing of COVID-19 restrictions impacts for Crown reserves

The NSW Government has enacted a new public health order in response to declining COVID-19 cases across the State. Effective from 1 June 2020, a range of restrictions are being eased across NSW to allow the community to become more active and for businesses to re-open.

From Monday 1 June 2020 certain restrictions have eased:

There are also upcoming changes to sports and recreation activities, effective from 13 June.

The revised rules will positively impact the access and use of many Crown reserves across NSW.

All Crown land managers should refer to NSW Government COVID-19 website to determine what rules apply to their operations on Crown reserves.

Many businesses, including applicable CLMs and Crown reserve user groups, are now required to create and follow a COVID-19 Safety Plan. CLMs should refer to industry guidelines to prepare the required safety plans. This plan will help to ensure health and hygiene practices are implemented at premises and workplaces.

The department continues to provide additional support CLMs during COVID-19 restrictions. CLMs are encouraged to complete the CLM hardship form to alert the department of your current situation. We will then follow up with support as required.
